    License Setup

    Hi,

I just reinstall my computer under Windows Vista on ly (before i was in dual boot with XP), and now i have this message each time i wants to execute Expression Web :

Please run this program from the Administrator account so it can set up your license. Once the license is set up, you can run it from any account.

I use an Administrator account, then i don't really understand.

    Any idea ?

    Thanks in advance.
    Eric

I haven't seen or heard that before. No wait I did once, my suggestion would he insert the did but instead of using auto run right click and select run as administrator then repair the install. if you are installing from the download do the some on the exe file.

    Re: License Setup

    Hi,

Thanks for your response, but i have the CD (i bought the upgrade) and the message is in English...

I simply desactivate the UAC and i have no message now.

I think more and more that EW and Vista are still beta versions...

    Re: License Setup

I've installed Expression Web on several machines (we have a partner pack with 10 licenses) and I have never experienced the problem you did. Sometimes these programs are funny on what they do or do not like.

You may have heard people say that programs are still beta until service pack x (depending on who you talk to which service pack really becomes the gold version). I've heard rumors that a service pack for Vista will be out before the end of summer but so far that is an unconfirmed rumor (at least I haven't been able to confirm it.)
